Join us in our journey to follow Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ gave his followers (the church) two guiding instructions: The Great Commandment to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind," and "love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:37,39), and the Great Commission to "make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20). Or as we say at Park Presbyterian:
"Love God, Love People, Create Disciples."

All that we do as Park Presbyterian Church is done to help one another grow in loving God, loving people, and growing their own discipleship so we can spread the gospel of Jesus to the world.
We proudly support OSF HealthCare
We are passionate about supporting our community and those who need it most and that is why our church has joined forces with OSF HealthCare to help as many cancer patients and their families during and after treatment. Please read how this amazing partnership began below.
Our Church History
Park Presbyterian Church
Park Presbyterian traces its roots back to 1858 when the Galloway Presbyterian Church was organized and sermons were given at the Galloway school. Nine years later the churched moved to Streator and was renamed the Streator-Galloway Church. This was the first church to locate in Streator.

A Word From Our Pastor
Hi! I'm Caleb.
You can call me Pastor Caleb if you'd like, but I really don't like being called Reverend. Nobody should be revering me. Why did I put "Rev." by my name then? Well, because that's the title I got when I was ordained and nobody's come up with a better title that we all feel like changing to.

But I digress. I've always thought this section on church's websites should give visitors to the site an idea of who the pastor really is. (Because hey, you're here to try and get an impression of this church so you can decide if you want check us out in person, right?) So here goes...
